Registrations are now open for the upgraded Crop Protection Industry & Applicable Regulations Course (previously known as the Basic Crop Protection course), hosted and delivered by the Chair in Plant Health at Stellenbosch University. Registration for the first course offering is open from 11–31 August 2026. From 2027 onwards, there will be two course intakes per year, with the next intake starting in January 2027. Please note that registrations for the Basic Crop Protection Course on this platform for 2026 will no longer be accepted. Students who are currently registered for the course will still be able to complete the course within the 12-month allocated time period, and the current course will still be accepted as the basic entry requirement for the crop protection industry. More details regarding the new course to be launched in the second half of this year will be communicated as soon as possible.
